Our focus isn’t just creating great sounding audio. We sit across the entire lifecycle of a show - from audience research to premise development to distribution strategy.
In the last 6 months we've grown our revenue by 120% and are looking to add new members to the team to support the onboarding of three new clients in Q1 2024.
We are currently seeking Video Engineer to join our team. This is a pivotal role that’s required to oversee the video production work across our suite of client shows.
Job responsibilities
- Editing raw video footage of interview-based podcasts into YouTube-ready assets, including titles, captions, animations and graphics.
- Development of motion graphics and animations for episode intro/outro and stings as required.
- Creation of accompanying social media clips in 9:16 and 1:1 aspect ratio with captions and other relevant branding.
- Working against client brand guidelines and editorial feedback from show producer to create high-quality videos.
- Management of all project, session and video files so that everything is where it needs to be for the rest of the team to find it.
- Using tools like Descript, Adobe Premiere and After Effects to create the best quality video we can.
Job requirements
- Proven experience in video production, with specific experience editing video podcasts, essential.
- Ability to make smart editorial decisions independently on what deserves to stay in the final edit and what should be cut.
- Can work autonomously when needed, and take on critical feedback when required.
- Very well organised, staying on top of file management, updating wider team on progress and strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality.
